Your privacy at Link Housing

Link Housing’s collects and administers a range of personal information for tenants and applicants for a variety of purposes.  In connection with your personal information, we will ensure that;

  • we only collect personal information directly relevant to providing our services,
  • we use your personal information only for the purpose for which it is provided, and
  • share it only with those who have a ‘need to know’.

We will also make sure we have each person’s consent before we release any personal information about them to a third party, eg a support worker. 

Information which is publicly available, in any domain, is not considered private or confidential and is excluded from Link Housing’s Privacy & Confidentiality Policy.

If you are concerned that Link Housing has not lived up to this policy, you have the right to make a formal complaint by contacting the Privacy Officer on

We will respond to your complaint under the terms of our Complaints policy, which will be provided when we acknowledge your complaint, or could be forwarded to you upon request.

Opting out

Link Housing may contact you from time to time to publicise a service or event.  If you do not wish to receive advertising information, for example to tenant events, you can opt out of receiving such communications from us by informing us as such.

Changes to policy

Changes to the Privacy & Confidentiality Policy may occur from time to time, and will be updated on the website and through other methods
